Serpulix SEO (Shopify) — Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Serpulix SEO app for Shopify (the “App”), provided by Serpulix (“we”, “us”). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

1. The App

The App is a free connector between your Shopify store and the Serpulix content platform (“Serpulix Platform”). It lets you view content created in the Serpulix Platform for your store and publish or unpublish that content to your Shopify blog and pages. The App itself is provided at no charge.

2. Serpulix account required

The App requires a separate Serpulix Platform account, which is governed by its own agreement and may be subject to separate fees. Content creation, SEO planning, and any billing happen in the Serpulix Platform, not in the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Serpulix account and the one-time link code used to connect your store.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App to publish unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
  • attempt to access stores or accounts that are not yours;
  • interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the App or its underlying services;
  • use the App in violation of Shopify’s API Terms or your obligations to Shopify.

4. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create and publish through the App. You are responsible for that content and for ensuring you have the rights to publish it to your store.

5. Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that published content will achieve any particular result.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Serpulix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Because the App is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the App will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling triggers deletion of the stored access token for your store (see the Shopify App Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Jersey.
